Now, we are embarking on a remarkable endeavour to address the critical lack of healthcare in the area. Our dream is to establish a comprehensive clinic that caters to the needs of the community in Ximba. This clinic will provide essential medical services such as general practice, dentistry, optometry, physiotherapy, and a dispensary. Furthermore, we are resolute in our commitment to combat the issue of sexual violence by including a specialized rape trauma unit.

Currently, the absence of healthcare facilities in the region has left its people in dire circumstances, with HIV/AIDS still significantly impacting the valley, leading to 200 to 500 deaths per week. With your support, we can change this reality and bring hope and healing to those who need it most. The clinic will not only be a beacon of health but also a symbol of progress and possibility for the future.

In the heart of a community ravaged by the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS, there exists a glimmer of hope – Grapevine Family Foundation. Our mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the most vulnerable individuals – the orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) who desperately need our support.

Imagine living in an area where one in every two and a half people are affected by HIV/AIDS. For these 800 children at Steven Davidson School, life is a constant struggle. They face unimaginable challenges, lacking the basic necessities that most of us take for granted. Grapevine Family Foundation has taken it upon ourselves to be their beacon of hope.

Our mission starts with providing food, a fundamental need, to ensure these children never go hungry. We also strive to equip them for education, by providing them with school uniforms, shoes, and whatever else they need to create a conducive learning environment. With your support, we can ensure they have access to a brighter future, despite the adversities they face.

It’s heart-breaking to know that out of over 400 OVCs at the school, these 800 children are the most desperate. Many of them lack any family structure to care for them, leaving them to fend for themselves and even sleep rough. Some are as young as 5 years old, facing a world they should never have to endure alone. But together, we can change this reality.

Malnutrition and sickness are constant threats to these innocent lives. Alarmingly, almost half of these children are already HIV+. But we believe in the power of compassion and collective action. In 2025/26, we embark on an ambitious projects – the construction of a Clinic and Children’s Village for 40 of the most vulnerable children. This village will be a sanctuary of hope, safety, and love. It will provide them with a sense of belonging, surrounded by caregivers who are dedicated to their well-being and happiness.
